The Allgäu Orient Rallye: A great adventure for enthusiastic teams and their (almost) veteran cars. From the South of Germany, across the Balkans, through Turkey and Syria to Jordan - the teams make their way off the beaten track. On Mai 2nd, 2009, the Allgäu-Orient Rallye starts for the forth time, combining fun and fundraising for a charitable cause.

Day 4: From Sofia to Istanbul

Lady Saab finally looses her exhaust pipe - she now sounds even more beautiful than before!
Backroads in Bulgaria: Navigation around huge potholes makes the team feel like participants in a giant slalom.




Istanbul, we are coming! Driving in the city is crazy, and Bernhard and Marcus get lost in a traffic jam. Two hours later, they finally reach the hostel, quite tired and stunned by the bustling metropolis.
